Log a species-level observation from the literature: presence or absence of a pyrenoid, ultrastructural detail where reported, and the source it comes from. Submissions are reviewed before they enter the curated dataset.
Classify what the image actually shows, not what you'd expect from the species. Imaging artefacts, growth-condition effects, and mis-speciation in older literature are real, but should be corrected post-hoc rather than guessed around at entry time.
